KUALA LUMPUR, Nov 29 — The public is advised to enhance their self-protection mechanisms to avoid falling victim to online fraud or scams, which are becoming increasingly prevalent, especially as financial transactions shift online.

KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 5 — A total of 11,367 cases of cybercrime were reported from January to July this year compared to 18,510 cases of commercial crime in the same period, said Commercial Crime Investigation Department (CCID) deputy director (cybercrimes and multimedia) Senior Assistant Commissioner Victor Sanjos.
